Thomas is an aviation executive, IOSA-qualified auditor and commercial pilot with 20 years of experience across quality assurance, safety management, flight operations, aviation security and accountable management. He has served in senior roles including Quality Assurance Manager, Flight Safety Officer, Flight Operations Manager, Aviation Security Manager, Accountable Manager and CEO. Thomas leads HAA’s auditing and consulting services and heads the development of the SEAMS software platform, combining regulatory expertise with practical technology to help clients manage compliance, safety, training and operational performance.

Sara leads HAA’s operations, human resources, publications and administrative support functions. Before joining the aviation industry, she built an extensive career in healthcare, university education, postgraduate programme management, counselling and organisational leadership. At HAA, she applies this experience to coordinating consultants and postholders, overseeing the preparation and quality control of ATO and AOC manuals, compiling Air Service Licence applications, preparing clients for SACAA audits, and managing SEAMS training and client support.

Samantha is an experienced aviation quality, safety and security professional who provides outsourced postholder and consulting services to a range of operators and training organisations. Her earlier career in education, remedial teaching and academic quality control developed the facilitation, assessment and organisational skills she now applies in aviation. Samantha assists clients with management-system implementation, audits and inspections, investigations, risk assessments, emergency exercises, security programmes, manual amendments and regulatory applications, while providing practical guidance and training to operational teams.

Hannes brings more than a decade of experience in aviation safety and quality management across manned and remotely piloted aircraft operations. As a Safety and Quality Manager, he provided oversight for more than 10 pilots and 30 aircraft and gained extensive experience in audits, inspections, safety investigations, operational monitoring and regulatory compliance. A qualified private and RPAS pilot, Hannes assists clients with outsourced postholder services, management-system implementation, audit preparation and the effective day-to-day management of safety and quality responsibilities.

Administration Client Support Training Coordination

Kedebone supports HAA’s administration and client-service functions, helping to keep communication, training coordination and service delivery organised and responsive. She holds a Bachelor of Education specialising in Tourism and Life Orientation and has experience in teaching, mentoring, event support and transport coordination. Her strong communication, planning and people skills contribute to the administrative support behind HAA’s auditing, consulting, training and outsourced postholder services.

Charlie has enjoyed an exceptional aviation career spanning flight operations, instruction, examination, accident investigation and operational safety. He has accumulated over 12,000 flying hours, more than half of which were dedicated to flight training. His experience includes serving as a Grade I Designated Flight Examiner, international helicopter test-rated examiner, SAAF Flight Safety Officer, Rooivalk display pilot and air show safety director. Charlie conducts aircraft accident and incident investigations, provides specialist safety and flight-operations guidance, and develops and presents HAA’s SEAMS Safety Training courses.
